About the Study

This study is to look at how well Semaglutide (Ozempic) works when taken together with different doses of a new once weekly investigational medicine called NNC0480-0389. Semaglutide is a medicine that doctors can already prescribe for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

Study participants may receive study-related care and study medication or an approved medication at no charge. You may also receive compensation for travel expenses.

To take part in the study, participants should be:

  • Not able to control blood sugars with Metformin, or with diet and exercise alone
  • BMI range: 25 to 40
  • A1C range: 7%-10%
